Engineer Ya'rab Al-Awad: Led By Its Expert Staff... Al-fao Continues Implementing Major Water Treatment Projects For Municipalities

Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, announced the continued and accelerated pace of work on three vital water sector projects in the governorates of Diyala, Anbar, and Salah Al-Din. He emphasized that these projects are among the priorities of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities to provide essential services to citizens.

 

Details Of The Ongoing Projects:

1. Diyala Governorate: The Jadida Al-Shatt water project is at a very advanced stage, reaching (88%) completion, with a production capacity of (2,000) m³/hour, bringing it close to becoming operational.

2. Anbar Governorate: Work continues on the Hasiba Al-Sharqiya water project, designed to serve areas in eastern Anbar with a production capacity of (2,000) m³/hour.

3. Salah Al-Din Governorate: Work recently commenced on the massive Balad water project, a strategic project aimed at completely resolving the water crisis in the district, with a production capacity of (4,000) m³/hour.

 

Al-Awad noted that these efforts are being undertaken with the guidance and close supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Construction and Housing, (Mr. Benkin Rikani), who prioritizes potable water projects within the ministry's service plan. He also emphasized that the Al-Fao General Engineering Company now possesses a select group of engineering and technical personnel capable of executing the most complex water projects according to modern international standards.
