Director General Of Al-Fao General Engineering Company: Works Are Being Implemented According To International Specifications And By Iraqi Hands In The Jadidah Al-Shatt Water Project In Diyala Governorate

Engineer Imad Tawfiq Al Mirza, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, stated that the engineering and technical cadres affiliated with the company in Diyala Governorate continue to work on the New Al-Shat water project, which the company is implementing for the benefit of the General Directorate of Water affiliated with the Ministry.

He stated that the project's production capacity is (2000) cubic meters per hour and supplies drinking water to the Jdeidet Al-Shatt district and the surrounding villages, and the work is proceeding according to the contractual timings, with the current completion rate reaching (55%).

His Lordship added that the work also includes extending a water pipeline network with a length of (33) kilometers, and it is being implemented according to international specifications and by Iraqi hands.
