The Sixth Session Of The Company’s Board Of Directors For The Year (2024)

On Sunday, 30 / 6 / 2024, Engineer Imad Tawfiq Al Mirza, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, chaired the sixth session of the company’s Board of Directors (2024).

At the beginning of the session, the Council President welcomed the members, then reviewed the paragraphs of the previous minutes and the actions taken in their regard, and discussed the topics included in the agenda, including:

• The reality of the work of projects under implementation in the capital, Baghdad, and the governorates, and the Council stressed the necessity of (commitment to completing these projects within the specified times, paying attention to service projects, continuing to follow up on suspended projects, and the company’s financial entitlements to employers).

• Mr. Director General reviewed the results of his visit to the projects of Al-Aziziya Residential Complex in Wasit Governorate and the Chaldean Church of Babylon in Baghdad, where he indicated that some changes had been made in the management of the two projects in order to improve the reality of work and speed of completion. He stressed that he will continue field visits to projects in order to identify deficiencies, if any, and address them immediately.

• The Council stressed the need to reduce and rationalize expenditures except in necessary cases.

• Reviewing the financial, supervisory, administrative and media position of the company and appropriate measures were taken regarding it.
