THE TENTH MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR Al-FAO GENERAL ENGINEERING COMPANY 2022
On Tuesday, 18 / 10 / 2022, the tenth meeting of the board of directors of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, was held at the company’s headquarters, headed by Eng. Ammar Abdul Razzaq Issa Al-Jubouri, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of the members. At the beginning of the session, the Chairman of the Board welcomed the engineer Salem Abbas Ali, the assistant general manager of the company, after he returned to his work after being ill, and wished him health and safety.
After that, the meeting dealt with the topics on the agenda as follows:
1 - The Board reviewed the paragraphs of the previous minutes and the measures taken in their regard.
2 - The Board discussed in detail the work situation of the projects implemented by the company in various governorates, and commended the company’s achievement of two projects during this month (the temporary iron bridge in Al-Khader district in Al-Muthanna governorate and the building of classrooms for the Technical Institute in Hawija in Kirkuk governorate). Including full commitment to contractual timings and required specifications and the need to follow up on obtaining financial dues from the beneficiaries on an ongoing basis in order to speed up the completion of projects.
3 - The Council directed the necessity of continuous coordination between the project management and the resident engineer in order to improve the reality of the projects work.
4 - The Board reviewed the field visits made by the Director General of the two projects (Completion of the steps halls and galleries in the southern site of Al-Nahrain University and the Supplementary works for the project of the Chaldean Patriarchate of Babylon building) in the province of Baghdad, as well as the company’s projects in the Dora refinery for the purpose of reviewing the reality of the ongoing work in it and standing on the field on the most important problems and obstacles facing the implementation process and their immediate solution.
5 - The Director of the Machinery & Production Department presented a report on the overall work carried out by the department (production stands for production plants and technical workshops).
6 - The Board reviewed the company's financial, supervisory, administrative, legal and media position and took appropriate measures in this regard.
