Within the engineering and service effort team projects Al-Fao General Engineering Company continues to work on the rehabilitation project of the Central Children's Hospital in Baghdad

Engineer Ammar Abdul-Razzaq Issa Al-Jubouri, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, stated that the engineering and technical staff of the company continue to work on the project to rehabilitate the Central Child Hospital in Baghdad, which the company is implementing for the benefit of the Baghdad Karkh Health Department.

 

Where work includes re:

1) Rehabilitation of civil works, including (replacement of floors for all floors of the hospital, which are six floors, with the basement and operating rooms, along with the works of the internal and external walls).

2) Executing the entire network of external roads and sanitary units for the hospital, along with water networks.

 

The Director General stated that the cost of the project is about (5.5) billion dinars and the Execution period is (240) days, and he stated that the company will complete the work within the contract period or less than that due to the urgent need of the Baghdad Health Department for this hospital.

 

On the other hand, Eng. Hashim Tharb, the project manager, mentioned that the works also include:

1) Maintenance of electricity networks.

2) Lighting, early warning and fire systems.

3) Installing camera systems.

4) Maintenance of elevators.

5) Establishing of an external lighting system for the building, roads and external fence.

6) Equipping a generator (1250 KVA).

7) Mechanical works (installation of a new oxygen system and maintenance of central air-conditioning devices, as well as supplying and installing a new central cooling system with a capacity of (500) tons, with the implementation of a network of medical gases).
