The employees of Al-Fao General Engineering Company cast their votes to elect the company's new board of directors
Engineer Ammar Abdel-Razzaq Issa Al-Jubouri, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, stated that the elections for the company’s new board of directors will take place today, Monday, 22 / 5 / 2023, after merging Al-Mansour General Contracting Company with Al-Fao General Engineering Company.
The Director General explained that the number of candidates for the membership of the Council reached eleven candidates to be voted on and to choose two basic members and another reserve.
In addition to that, he indicated that the elections are taking place today in the provinces of the Middle Euphrates (Babil - Sacred Karbala - Holy Najaf - Al-Diwaniyah) and will continue during the coming days in the rest of the provinces.
His Excellency stated that a central committee chaired by the Assistant General Manager and six members supervises these elections, and that the Board of Directors is the supreme body in the company. It is responsible for drawing and setting general policies and administrative, financial, organizational and technical lines necessary for the conduct of its activities, achieving its goals and supervising their implementation, and the Board exercises all rights and powers related to that.
The Director General directed that all the company's employees should participate and the necessity of selecting competent and professional elements capable of advancing the reality of its work and prosperity in the next stage.
