Water Infrastructure Development In Diyala: Jdeidet Al-Shatt Water Project Progressing Steadily
Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan al-Awad, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, announced the continuation of work on the Jdeidet al-Shatt Water Project in Diyala Governorate, which the company is implementing for the General Directorate of Water.
Current Work Details
Current work on the project includes (connecting boards, roads, and walkways, painting the intake structure, supplying water to buildings, and connecting external sewers to buildings).
Importance Of The Project
The General Manager explained that the project is one of the important service projects being implemented by the company, as it will provide potable water to the Jdeidet al-Shatt district and the surrounding villages. The project's production capacity is (2,000) cubic meters per hour, and the current completion rate is (86%).
His Excellency the Minister of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, (Mr. Benkin Rikani), pays great attention to water projects.

His Lordship added that the company is closely monitoring the project to ensure its implementation according to the required standards, high quality, and modern methods.
