Strong Foundations, A Brighter Future: Construction Begins On Al-Nil Hospital In Babylon Governorate
🟦Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, announced that the company's teams in Babylon Governorate have commenced excavation and foundation work for the Al-Nil District Hospital, a project being implemented by the company for the Ministry of Health / Babylon Health Directorate. The work includes (322) foundations, each (20) meters long and (1) meter in diameter, and is proceeding according to the established schedule.

- Capacity: (50) beds.
- Area: (8) dunams.
- Structure: (5) floors + basement.
- Facilities: Two doctors' offices, emergency room, outpatient pharmacy, sterilization unit, laboratory, radiology department, major and minor operating rooms, delivery and cesarean section wards, and a maternity recovery ward.
- Systems: Heating, cooling, medical gases, fire suppression, electricity, and wastewater treatment.
- Elevators: (9).

- Cost: Approximately (30) billion Iraqi dinars.
- Implementation Period: (1,000) days.
🟦 Al-Awad confirmed that the project will be implemented according to the latest engineering standards and will enhance healthcare services for the residents of Al-Nil district and surrounding areas.
