Al-Fao Engineering's Footprint In Diyala: Jdeidet Al-Shatt Water Project Reaches (91%) Completion
🔵 Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company (a subsidiary of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities), announced the successful continuation of commissioning and trial pumping operations at the Jdeidet Al-Shatt water project in Diyala Governorate. The project is being implemented by the company for the Ministry's General Directorate of Water.
🔵 Al-Awad confirmed that water pumping has already reached several targeted areas. The project will ensure a sustainable supply of potable water to the Jdeidet Al-Shatt district and surrounding villages. He explained that the project boasts a high production capacity of up to (2,000) cubic meters per hour.
🔵 Regarding the project's progress, the Director General indicated that work is proceeding according to schedule, with the current completion rate reaching (91%). He emphasized the company's commitment to completing the project according to the highest international technical standards.
🔵 It is worth mentioning that the project includes integrated complexes that include: high and low pumping buildings, sludge and chemical units, technical workshops, as well as administrative buildings, operators’ quarters and a booster station to ensure efficient distribution.
