Director General Of Al-Fao General Engineering Company: Our Staffs Continue To Work Day And Night On The Main Al-Khader Bridge Project In Al-Muthanna Governorate

Engineer Imad Tawfiq Al Mirza, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, stated that the company’s engineering and technical personnel are continuing to work on the main Al-Khader concrete bridge project in Muthanna Governorate, which it is implementing for the Department of Roads and Bridges.

He stated that work is progressing at a continuous pace, day and night, on this project in order to complete it as quickly as possible, as it is the main bridge in Al-Khader District, which connects both sides of the city.

He explained that the bridge consists of five spaces within the river (three concrete spaces and two steel spaces) and that the current works are:

1) Approaches to both sides of the bridge.

2) Burying the riverbed for the purpose of erecting concrete supports for the river spaces.

3) Drilling and laying electrical wires.

4) Directly casting the bases of the lighting poles for the approaches.

The General Manager stated that the current completion rate is (76%), and that the company has previously completed the Al-Daraji Bridge in the governorate.
