Significant Achievement: Al-Fao Company Completes First Phase Of Rehabilitation And Development Of Abu Ghraib General Hospital In Baghdad
🔷 Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, announced the completion of the first phase of the rehabilitation and development of Abu Ghraib General Hospital in Baghdad for the benefit of the service and engineering team. This phase included:
↪️ Rehabilitation of the pediatric and neonatal wards.
↪️ Replacement of all water and sewage networks.
↪️ Medical gas networks.
↪️ Lighting and early warning systems.
↪️ Security cameras for these wards.
🔷 The Director General added that despite the difficulties and obstacles, the company was able to complete this phase without interrupting medical services at the hospital. The company has begun work on the second phase, which includes the rehabilitation of the obstetrics and gynecology and surgical wards and administrative offices on the ground floor, along with all their associated networks and systems.
🔷 In a related context, His Lordship mentioned that the company is currently rehabilitating and developing Al-Furat General Hospital and the Central Children’s Hospital / Phase Three in Baghdad, and recently completed the project to rehabilitate and develop Qalat Saleh General Hospital in Maysan Governorate.
