The Director General Announces: Reinforcement And Steel Structure Work Has Begun At The Hasiba East Water Treatment Plant
Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao General Engineering Company – a subsidiary of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities – confirmed that the company is continuing to implement the Hasiba East Central Water Project in Anbar Governorate, which it is carrying out for the Ministry's General Directorate of Water.
Current Work Includes:
1) Reinforcement and steel formwork for the first phase of the filter building walls, the sludge building, and the high-pressure pumping station.
2) Wooden formwork and reinforcing steel for the administration and workshop buildings.
3) Electrical installations for the operators' and engineers' quarters.
The project's target production capacity is (2,000) cubic meters per hour, benefiting residents of eastern Anbar. The project consists of the main treatment plant, which includes three sedimentation basins, ten filter buildings, an underground reservoir, chemical buildings, a high-pressure pumping station, a workshop, a sludge storage area, and two operators' quarters. The pumping station includes a low-pressure building and four transmission lines totaling (25) kilometers in length.
In addition, Al-Awad stated that the company is implementing the New Shat water project with a capacity of (2,000) cubic meters per hour in Diyala Governorate, and that it is about to begin the Balad water project with a capacity of (4,000) cubic meters per hour in Salah al-Din Governorate.
