Successive Engineering Achievements: Al-Fao Continues The Water Sector Reconstruction Revolution In The Provinces

Eng. Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, confirmed the continuation of work on the Hasiba Al-Sharqiya Central Water Project in Anbar Governorate, which the company is implementing for the General Directorate of Water, affiliated with the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities.

 

🔵 Project Details:

🔹 Ongoing Work:

- Completion of pouring the walls of the silt basin and the underground reservoir.

- Construction of the high-pressure pumping station and pouring the roof of the workshop building.

- Formwork and reinforcement work for the chemical building.

- Steel formwork, detailing, and reinforcement connection for the sedimentation and rapid mixing basins.

🔹Production Capacity:

(2,000) cubic meters/hour.

🔹 Beneficiary Areas:

Eastern Anbar.

 

🔵 Project Components:

🔹 Treatment Plant:

- Three sedimentation basins.

- Ten filter buildings.

- Ground reservoir.

- Chemical, high-pressure, power, and workshop buildings.

- Sludge basins.

- Two operator quarters.

🔹 Pumping Station:

- Low-pressure and power building.

- Four transmission lines, (25) km in length.

- Jdeidet Al-Shatt Water (Diyala Governorate): (2,000) cubic meters per hour.

- Balad Water (Salah al-Din Governorate): (4,000) cubic meters per hour.

🔹 Completed Projects:

- Kirkuk Water (Kirkuk Governorate): (12,000) cubic meters per hour.

- Tal Afar Zummar Water (Nineveh Governorate): (10,000) cubic meters per hour.

- Dujail Water (Salah ad-Din Governorate): (4,000) cubic meters per hour.

- Al-Baghdadi Water (Anbar Governorate): (3,000) cubic meters per hour.
