Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Abbas: The Completion Date For The Kadhimiya Holy Gates Project Is Approaching

Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Al-Awad, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, announced the near completion of the gates and checkpoints project at the entrances to the holy city of Kadhimiya in Baghdad. The project, which the company is implementing for the Baghdad Municipality/Projects Department and under the supervision of the Kadhimiya Municipality, aims to improve traffic flow and facilitate the movement of people and vehicles, especially during religious pilgrimages.

 

The project, which is one of the Arab Summit projects, includes the construction of seven unified gates at the city's entrances:

1. Imams Entrance

2. Abdul Mohsen Al-Kadhimi Entrance

3. Al-Jawadain Entrance

4. Representatives Entrance

5. Al-Dabbash Entrance

6. Ministers Entrance

7. Jeddah Entrance

 

Work for each entrance includes:

- Implementing concrete foundations

- Iron structures for arches and signs

- Iron roofs

- Lighting poles

 

The actual completion rate has reached (90%) exceeding the plan. Work is expected to be completed in the coming days, making these gates an important addition to improving the infrastructure of the Holy City and facilitating the movement of visitors.
