Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Al-Awad: Five New Educational Projects Opened In Maysan
Engineer Abdul Razzaq Al-Maliki, Head of the Service and Engineering Effort Team, inaugurated five schools in Maysan Governorate on Friday, May 23, 2025. The opening ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister's Advisor, Mr. Faleh Al-Furaiji; Member of Parliament, MP Ruqayya Al-Nouri; Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Al-Awad, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company; Engineer Ahmed Fakhri Fayyad, Deputy General Manager of the Company; Engineer Ghassan Mohsen, Director of Service Effort Projects at the Company; and Engineer Ziad Tariq, Director of the Projects Department at Al-Fao General Engineering Company.
In a speech delivered at the opening ceremony held for this occasion, the Head of the Service Effort praised the efforts of the Al-Fao Company's employees who completed these schools, explaining that the company had previously completed several projects for the Service and Engineering Effort Team.
For his part, Engineer Yarab Qahtan Abbas, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company (the project's implementing agency), stated that the company completed these schools within the specified timeframe and to the required specifications, despite the obstacles it encountered during implementation. The schools are:
1) Al-Firdaws Elementary School
2) Al-Imam Al-Jawad Elementary School
3) Al-Kumait Intermediate School for Girls
4) Al-Kadhimiya Intermediate School
5) Al-Sheikh Al-Tusi Secondary School
His Lordship stated that the company had previously completed three other schools in this governorate and was currently rehabilitating Qalaat Saleh General Hospital. These projects are part of the Service and Engineering Effort Team's strategy to provide better services to the local population.
The General Manager highlighted the significant and prominent role of His Excellency the Minister of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, (Mr. Benkin Rikani), in supporting the company and achieving these accomplishments.
