Mr. General Manager Of The Company: The Work Stages Are Advanced In A Project To Build Low-Cost Housing Units In Babil Governorate

Engineer Imad Tawfiq Al Mirza, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, stated that the company’s engineering and technical cadres continue to work on a project to implement low-cost housing units in Babil Governorate, which the company is implementing for the governorate office.

He pointed out that work is progressing at an increasing pace in the project and the current work is the completion of all work paragraphs. He stressed the need for rapid action by the project management with the beneficiary for the purpose of collecting the company’s financial dues for speedy completion, and that the company’s management will be supportive of all projects, especially service ones.

The Director General stated that the project consists of two contracts:

The first: with (480) residential units, including the construction of (25) three-story residential buildings, with (300) residential units, including (school, information building, markets, administration and civil defense building, sewage networks, electrical networks, garages, roads and gardens) and that the current completion rate is (78%) and the total cost is approximately (28) billion dinars.

The second: It includes the construction of (15) residential buildings, with three floors, with (180) residential units, and includes (a kindergarten, a nursery, a mosque, an information building, electrical networks, and sewage networks). The current completion rate for this contract is (87%) and at a total cost of (16) billion dinars.
