Director General Of Al-Fao General Engineering Company: We Have Begun Extending The Pure Water Pipeline Network For The Jadidah Al-Shat Water Project In Diyala Governorate.

Engineer Imad Tawfiq Al Mirza, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, stated that the company’s engineering and technical staff continue to work on the Jadidah Al-Shatt water project in Diyala Governorate, which is being implemented for the benefit of the Ministry’s General Directorate of Water.

He announced the commencement of the work of digging paths for ductile pipes transporting pure water from the project headquarters to the villages and cities included in this, with a length of (33) kilometers for the network, and diameters ranging between (250-500) mm, and the production capacity of the project is (2000) cubic meters / hour and feeds the area. Jdeidet Al-Shat and the surrounding villages have drinking water.

His Lordship added that the works are being implemented according to international specifications and by Iraqi hands, and the current completion rate of the project is (57 %).
