The Board Of Directors Of Al-Fao Company Holds Its Fourth Meeting Of 2026, Chaired By Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan

Under the direct supervision of the Director General and Chairman of the Board, Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Al-Awad, the Al-Fao General Engineering Company (a subsidiary of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities) held its fourth meeting of the Board of Directors on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

The meeting began with the Chairman welcoming the members. This was followed by a review of the minutes of the previous meeting and ratification of the actions taken regarding them. The Board then moved on to discuss the agenda, reviewing the implementation status of ongoing projects in Baghdad and the provinces, with a particular focus on service projects included in the government program (especially in the water and housing sectors) due to their direct impact on citizens' needs. Staff were instructed to take the necessary steps to overcome obstacles and ensure accurate implementation.

In the context of maximizing resources, the board discussed a plan to activate the company's production facilities in the governorates of Baghdad, Babylon, and Nineveh through rehabilitation, maintenance, and operation programs in cooperation with reputable companies. This aims to create new job opportunities and increase revenues.

The meeting also reviewed the results of field visits by senior management and a detailed report on the performance of the Machinery and Production Department. The session concluded with a discussion of administrative, financial, oversight, and legal matters, and the adoption of appropriate decisions to improve workflow.
