THE FIRST MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR Al-FAO GENERAL ENGINEERING COMPANY 2023

On Wednesday, 11 / 1 / 2023, the first session of the Board of Directors of the Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, was held at the company’s headquarters,headed by Eng. Ammar Abdul Razzaq Issa Al-Jubouri, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of the members.

At the beginning of the session, the meeting dealt with the topics included in the agenda, as follows:

- The council reviewed the paragraphs of the previous minutes and the actions taken in their regard.

- The council discussed in detail the position of the work of the projects implemented by the company in various governorates. The council praised the company's completion of (9) nine projects during the past year in the governorates (Baghdad, Salah al-Din, Nineveh, Kirkuk, Holy Najaf and Muthanna) in various fields and sectors. When discussing projects The water project implemented by the company, which is (Al-Baghdadi Water Project in Anbar Governorate, Dujail Water Project in Salah Al-Din Governorate, and Jdeidet Al-Shatt Water Project in Diyala Governorate). where Mr. Engineer Samir Ibrahim Bashiqa, Director General of the Planning and Follow-up Department in the ministry and a member of the company’s board of directors, he indicated the completion of these projects during this year, because water projects are among the necessary projects that have a direct impact on providing services to citizens.

- The council reviewed the field visits made by the general manager and the assistant to a number of the company's projects, where the general manager confirmed that the aim of these visits comes for the purpose of evaluating the volume of business and seeing in the field the reality of the ongoing works in it and identifying the most important problems and obstacles facing the process of implementing and resolving them. Immediately, especially service projects.

- The Director of the Machinery and Productivity Department presented a report on the overall work carried out by the department (production stands for production plants and technical workshops).

- The Board reviewed the financial, supervisory, administrative, legal and media position of the company and took the appropriate measures in this regard.
