Engineer Imad Tawfiq: Our Staffs Continue Working On The Jadidah Al Shatt Water Project In Diyala Governorate
Engineer Imad Tawfiq Al Mirza, General Manager of Al Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, stated that the engineering and technical staffs affiliated with the company in Diyala Governorate continue working on the Jadidah Al Shatt Water Project, which the company is implementing for the benefit of the General Directorate of Water affiliated with the Ministry.
His Lordship explained the following: -
1) Completion of bridge cranes works inside the stations with (12) cranes.
2) Installation of main pumps with (22) pumps.
3) Continuation of excavation works for ductile pipes transporting pure water from the project headquarters to the villages and cities covered, and that the diameters of these pipes range between (400-800) mm.
4) The length of the pipe network is (33) km.
5) The production capacity of the project is (2000) cubic meters / hour.
6) The current completion rate is (61%).
7) The project supplies the Jadidah Al Shatt district and the surrounding villages with potable water.
8) The work is being staff out according to international specifications and by Iraqi hands.
