THE EIGHTH MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR Al-FAO GENERAL ENGINEERING COMPANY 2022

On Tuesday, 16 / 8 / 2022, the eighth session of the Board of Directors of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, was held at the company’s headquarters, headed by Eng. Ammar Abdul Razzaq Issa Al-Jubouri, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of the members.

At the beginning of the session, Surat Al-Fatimah was read to the soul of the late (Aws Latif Abd), the employee entitled “A Contract in the Company” who passed the deadline during his work.    Then the meeting dealt with the topics on the agenda, as follows:

1 - The council reviewed the previous minutes paragraphs and the measures taken in their regard.

2 - The Council discussed the position of the work of the projects implemented by the company in the various governorates. The focus was on projects of a service nature, including water projects and residential complexes, where Mr. Engineer Samir Ibrahim Bashiqa, Director General of the Planning and Follow-up Department in the ministry and a member of the company’s board of directors, indicated the need to follow up on these projects on an ongoing basis and stand up. On the obstacles that obstruct the progress of work and resolve them with the beneficiaries quickly and immediately, as well as full compliance with the contractual timings.

3 - The Board emphasized that the company is looking for new job opportunities for the company in order to sustain the work and maximize its resources.

4 - Follow up the company's financial receivables with the beneficiaries.

5- The Board commended the company's completion of (6) six new projects since the beginning of this year until 15/8/2022 (four projects in Nineveh Governorate, one project in Baghdad Governorate and one project in Holly Najaf Governorate).

6 - The Board reviewed the field visits made by the General Manager, the Associate and the company's advanced staff for projects, in order to observe on the ground the reality of the ongoing work.

7 - The Director of the Machinery & Production Department presented a report on the overall work carried out by the department (production stands for production plants and technical workshops).

8 - The Board reviewed the company's financial, supervisory, administrative, legal and media position and took appropriate measures in this regard.
