AL-FAO Strengthens Water Infrastructure In Anbar: Husaybah Al-Sharqiyah Water Project Progressing Acceleratingly

Engineer Ya'rab Qahtan Al-Awad, General Manager of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, confirmed that work on the Husaybah Al-Sharqiyah Central Water Project in Anbar Governorate is progressing rapidly. The company is implementing this project for the General Directorate of Water, and the project is witnessing remarkable progress in its various phases. He explained:

 

☑️ Project Details:

1. Current Work:

- Casting foundations and walls for water facilities.

- Commencing work on the wooden formwork for service buildings.

- Continuing pipe preparation work.

2. Project Importance:

- The project provides potable water to residents of areas suffering from water scarcity in eastern Anbar.

- The project is part of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities' efforts to improve water services in Iraq.

3. Production Capacity:

- The project's production capacity is (2,000) cubic meters per hour.

4. Project Components:

- Treatment Plant: Sedimentation tanks, filter building, ground tank, chemical buildings, high-pressure and power plants, workshop, slurry, and operators' quarters.

- Intake Station: Low-pressure and power plants, (4) transmission lines totaling (25) kilometers.

 

☑️ Ministry Follow-Up:

- His Excellency the Minister of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities (Mr. Benkin Rikani) attaches great importance to water projects and the provision of potable water to citizens.

- The company's management is continuously monitoring the project and harnessing all its capabilities to ensure its rapid completion according to the contractual schedule.
