THE SEVENTH MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR Al-FAO GENERAL ENGINEERING COMPANY 2022
On Tuesday, 19 / 7 / 2022, the seventh session of the Board of Directors of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, was held at the company’s headquarters, headed by Eng. Ammar Abdul Razzaq Issa Al-Jubouri, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of the members. He congratulated them on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha and wished them success and further efforts in the next phase in order to improve the company’s work and prosperity. After that, the meeting dealt with the topics listed on the agenda and the following:
1 - The council reviewed the paragraphs of the previous minutes and the measures taken in their regard.
2 - The Council discussed the work situation of the projects implemented by the company in the various governorates and reviewed some of the problems and obstacles facing the implementation process of some projects. Eng. Samir Ibrahim, Director General of the Planning and Follow-up Department in the Ministry and a member of the company’s board of directors, stressed the need to overcome these problems, especially in Water projects and residential complexes because these projects have a direct impact on improving the service reality for citizens.
3 - The Board praised the company's completion of five new projects.
4 - The Council affirmed full compliance with the contractual timings and the required specifications for the projects.
5 - The Board reviewed the field visits made by the General Manager, the Associate and the advanced staff in the company for projects, in order to see on the ground, the reality of the ongoing work.
6 - The Board reviewed the activity report of the Quality Management section and praised the procedures and steps it follows in the transition to the implementation of the integrated quality management system (IMS).
7 - The Director of the Machinery & Production Department presented a report on the overall work carried out by the department (production stands for production plants and technical workshops).
8 - The Board reviewed the company's financial, supervisory, administrative, legal and media position and took appropriate measures in this regard.
