Minister Of Construction, Housing, And Public Municipalities Inspects Rehabilitation And Development Works At The Civil Aviation Institute And Nineveh Terminal At Baghdad Airport

Minister of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities, Mr. Benkin Rekani, inspected the project to rehabilitate and develop the VIP lounge and administrative wing in the Nineveh Terminal at Baghdad International Airport, as well as the project to rehabilitate the Iraqi Civil Aviation Institute. He was accompanied on the visit by the General Managers of Hammurabi Company, Engineer Abdul Razzaq Al-Maliki, and Al-Fao General Engineering Company, Engineer Yarub Qahtan Abbas.

- Work on the Nineveh Terminal project was completed by the Ministry's Al-Fao General Engineering Company. It includes excavation, removal, and cleaning of fire debris, construction and casting works, followed by the commencement of finishing works, decorations, and electrical works in preparation for the Arab Summit, which will be held in Baghdad next May.

- The work on the institute project was carried out by the Ministry's Al-Fao General Engineering Company and Hammurabi Company. The work included the rehabilitation of the institute's main hall and classrooms, electrical lighting and cladding for the ceilings, cafeteria and staircase works, and the installation of water tanks.
