With Standard Specifications, The Sacred University Of Karbala Prepares To Welcome Its Female Students To Modern Dormitories With A Capacity Of (784) Beds
Engineer Ya'rub Qahtan Al-Awad, Director General of Al-Fao Engineering Company, affiliated with the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities, announced the continuation of construction work on the female student dormitory building at the Sacred University of Karbala, emphasizing the company's commitment to providing a suitable living environment for the educational process.
🟣 Project Details And Capacity:
The building consists of three floors designed to accommodate (784) beds and includes (196) fully equipped bedrooms, in addition to (36) kitchens and (36) complete bathrooms. To ensure an ideal study environment, the project includes a central library, as well as dedicated reading rooms on each floor.
🟣 Construction Progress:
The Director General explained that the engineering and technical teams are currently working on completing the building's exterior facades using stone and granite, concurrently with plastering, rendering, and ceramic tile installation. The sites are also witnessing significant progress in electrical installations, plumbing systems, and water and sewage networks.

Al-Awad emphasized Al-Fao Company's commitment to completing the project according to the highest technical and engineering specifications that ensure the students' comfort. He noted that the company possesses extensive experience in this field, having previously implemented similar projects for dormitories in the governorates of Baghdad, Salah Al-Din, Nineveh, and Basra, thus reinforcing its leading role in developing Iraqi academic institutions.
