Engineer Yarub Qahtan Abbas Al-Awad, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Fao General Engineering Company, chaired the ninth session of the Board of Directors on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
Highlights Of The Session:
1. Review Of Project Work: The Board discussed the progress of projects in Baghdad and the governorates in detail, emphasizing the need to adhere to contractual timelines for project completion.
2. Solutions To Problems And Obstacles: Appropriate measures were taken to resolve the problems and obstacles facing the work of some projects.
3. Recent Achievements: The Board commended the company's completion of two projects during the current month:
☑️ The Urban Statistics Division Building Project in Nineveh Governorate for the Ministry of Planning.
☑️ The Al-Ahrar School Construction Project for the State Service and Engineering Efforts.
☑️ This brings the number of projects completed during the year to (21).
4. New Projects: The Board of Directors approved the company's immediate implementation of:
☑️ The Nile District Hospital Project in Babil Governorate.
☑️ The Planning Buildings Complex Project in Baghdad Governorate.
5. Searching For New Job Opportunities: The Chairman of the Board emphasized the need for project managers to seek new job opportunities by communicating with governors, provincial councils, and government departments to maximize the company's resources.
6. Reviewing Field Visits: The Board reviewed the field visits made by the General Manager, the Assistant, and the company's senior staff to review the progress of the projects.
7. Financial, Administrative, Oversight, And Legal Position: The Board discussed the company's financial, administrative, oversight, and legal position and took appropriate action.
