THE FIFITH MEETING OF THE BOARD THE DIRECTORS FOR Al-FAO GENERAL ENGINEERING COMPANY 2022

The fifth meeting of the Board of Directors for Al-Fao General Engineering Company, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, was held on Tuesday 17/5/2022 at the company’s headquarters headed by Eng.Ammar Abdul Razzaq Issa Al-Jubouri, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and in the presence of the members. At the beginning of the session, the President of the Council welcomed the members, after which he addressed the topics listed on the agenda, which are:

1 - The council reviewed the paragraphs of the previous minutes and the measures taken in their regard.

2 - The Board reviewed in detail the projects implemented by the company in the various governorates and stressed the need for full commitment to implementation and completion within the contractual deadlines without any delay.

3 - Engineer Amer Saleh Abd Ali, director of the Jdeidet Al-Shatt water project in Diyala Governorate, which is implemented by the company for the General Directorate of Water, provided a detailed explanation of the project’s work and the obstacles facing the implementation process, including the delay in approving designs. On his side, Mr. Eng. Samir Ibrahim Bashqa, in the apartment of the Director General of the Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry and a member of the company’s board of directors, stressed the need to pay attention to these projects, follow-up procedures and obstacles with the beneficiary and solve them immediately, as these projects are service, necessary, important and have a direct impact on providing services to citizens, and praised the ongoing work of the project Al-Baghdadi Water in Anbar Governorate and Dujail Water Project in Salah Al-Din Governorate.

4 - The Board reviewed the field visits to the company's projects carried out by the Director General, the Associate and the advanced staff in order to follow up the implementation process of those projects, evaluate the volume of work in them, identify the most important obstacles facing the implementation process and find appropriate solutions.

5- The Director of the Mechanism and Productivity Department presented a report on the overall work carried out by the department.

6 - The Board reviewed the financial, supervisory, administrative, legal and media position of the company and took appropriate measures in this regard.
