Al-Fao Engineering Company Leads Service Development In Baghdad: Work Accelerates On Rehabilitating Imam Al-Sadiq Street In Al-Ubaidi

In implementation of government directives aimed at improving services and infrastructure in the capital, Baghdad, the engineering and technical staff of Al-Fao General Engineering Company are continuing their work on the Imam Al-Sadiq Street rehabilitation project – Stage Two (Neighborhood 769) in the Al-Kamaliyah district (Al-Ubaidi), under the umbrella of the government's service and engineering efforts.

Construction work at the site is progressing rapidly and intensively to develop the infrastructure according to the following technical specifications:

• Complete development of the main street.

• Rehabilitation of (6) side streets connected to it.

• Total length of rehabilitation reaches (1300) meters.

• Efficient execution of earthworks.

🔷Earthworks And Basic Preparation

• Laying sub-base layers in designated locations.

• Soil compaction to ensure durability and sustainability.

• Covering a total integrated area of (8,000) square meters.

🔷Sidewalk Upgrades

• Constructing new, sustainable sidewalks.

• Executing works along a (4,000) linear meter stretch.

• Organizing pedestrian walkways to facilitate pedestrian movement.

🔷Drainage Networks And Final Finishing

• Commencing final paving (finishing) works.

• Covering a large area of (8,000) square meters.

• Establishing modern and integrated stormwater drainage networks to prevent water accumulation and flooding.
